Netzwerk Junge Editorik (Young Editors Network)
(Text by Sophia Krebs and Annkathrin Sonder, obtained via the ‘Digital Medieval Studies’ working group and translated into English): The ‘Netzwerk Junge Editorik’ was launched at the plenary conference of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für germanistische Edition on 21 February 2024 to bring together young scholars working in the field of text philology and to facilitate a nationwide (and, also, international) exchange.
The aim is to facilitate exchange, promote cooperation, share job offers and plan joint events and publications.
All those who see themselves as ‘young academics’ dealing with editorial philological and practical issues and all those who are interested in professional and collegial exchange are welcome. There are deliberately no disciplinary boundaries.
Initially, the exchange will take place via a low-threshold mailing list. Over time, it will become clear whether this form is also suitable in the long term. By sending an e-mail to netzwerk-junge-editorik@gmx.net, the sender agrees to have their e-mail address visible on the mailing list (regarding data protection, etc.).
