Thesis

"The Development of Upper Palaeolithic Behaviour in the Armenian Highlands at Aghitu-3 Cave"

My study focuses on the Upper Palaeolithic stone tools of Aghitu-3 Cave in southern Armenia. My research provides an important baseline about the only stratified Upper Palaeolithic cave site in Armenia. Most important, the site offers the opportunity to study changes in modern human behaviour between 39,000 and 24,000 cal BP during a key period of cultural development and will allow for future research into the settlement of the Armenian Highlands.
